Presentation 1: Electric Vehicles with Unlimited Range Through Road Electrification and Contactless Inductive Energy Transfer
In the collaborative project E|MPOWER, coil systems are being integrated into the road surface to supply trucks with energy wirelessly while driving (Electric Road Systems). The system's transmission efficiency and wear-free operation are being demonstrated on the A6 motorway in Northern Bavaria. The goal is to minimize battery capacity for sustainable logistics.
