Transposed convolutions are a basic building block for many computer vision tasks like for example image segmentation. Some well-known deep learning models like U-Net are using transposed convolutions to do their magic.
Therefore I think it is worth understanding how transposed convolutions are calculated and what the transposed convolution step actually looks like.
