Serenity - Native Instruments 'Score to Win' contest
The video created a sense of serenity in me hence the name. I could "hear" the wind soaring during the time-lapse footage so I used the VOW Ancient Winds in that segment and also the VOW Whispers during the intro. To me, there were obvious "breaks" that needed a musical transition and I find a change of key helps creating that transition.
This is my first time trying to score to video although it is something I would love to pursue further. I find it fascinating the difference a beautiful score can make in how the film is perceived and the emotion it can create.
