3D-printed Model of the Automotive Differential
The Automotive Differential transmits power from the engine to the driving wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds when the driving conditions call for it, such as during a turn. To make things more interesting, this model uses a hypoid pinion/ring gear pair instead of a bevel gear pair. The model is powered by a 6V electric motor equipped with a speed reducer.
