What will happen to the assets of your church when it closes the doors? Is there a plan? Does anyone know? Or will it just be left to the first group that walks by with their hand out?
When a church closes, its assets must be given to another non-profit. Often who they give it to has nothing to do with Christianity or the mission of the church.
In how you close the congregation - many new things can be birthed in your community. You have a GRAND opportunity to do a lot of good in the closing of a church. So do it with intentionality.
