Sketch Night: New Drawing Challenges, Time Lapse Digital Drawings Using The Procreate App for iPad
Today I am putting myself out there and sharing three drawings that I don't really love... But I am sharing them because they are part of my learning process, and I am challenging myself to draw some things that I find difficult to draw (like bodies, clothes, profiles, and side angles). It's important to share my journey with you because it will hold me accountable and help me to keep trying to push my creative work in new directions, and hopefully it will inspire you to challenge yourself with your creative work too! I have always loved drawing and writing. I've been making little books and stationery since I was in middle school. I am definitely a sketchbook hoarder... I have shelves full of filled books as well as shelves filled with blank books!
When I am not making art, I love thrifting, going to flea markets, listening to music that isn't cool, reading, writing, and binge watching YouTube, of course!
I hold BFA in Printmaking from the University of Florida, and I've taught art classes on topics like screen printing, metals, drawing, painting, and bookbinding. Clients include Urban Outfitters On Tour, 6DollarShirts, Amelia's Magazine, and The Independent Florida Alligator.
