Changing Lives grant programme: Joan’s story
Joan is passionate about bridal. She was supported by Crisis during a period of homelessness and received a Changing Lives grant. She used this grant to fulfil her dream of opening her own bridal shop.
Crisis’ Changing Lives grant programme, funded by Lloyds Banking Group, enables people who have experienced homelessness to pursue their career or education goals independently. Since 2002, the programme has supported over 3,500 people with more than £3million in funding.
Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We know that homelessness is not inevitable and that together, we can end it.
