Data labels are very useful for showing additional information or explaining important trends and messages in charts. With dynamic custom data labels, you can set the commenting of charts on autopilot. This video shows how to make dynamic custom data labels that update based on filter selection of the table and show the user of the reports the best and worst growth rates. The shown solutions use two features of data labels - assigning value from cells to the labels and custom number formatting (no Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications).
