Nunc dimittis, the famous ‟O Lord now lettest Thou thy servant depart in peace‟ In russian‟ Nyne otpuschayeshi‟ has been opportunity for many composers to give us beautiful songs. This one is the most dramatic ever written, here interpreted by soloists and choir of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin cathedral. With some pictures of Orthodox churches, from the humblest wooden chapel to the magnificent St Basil cathedral.
