We bet you've seen some bizarre stuff on Craigslist but
you've probably never found this:
Imagine buying a desk under two-
hundred dollars on Craigslist
Only to find thousands of dollars hidden inside.
And that's exactly what happened to this couple
They found ninety-eight thousand Dollars
in cold hard cash stuffed inside a plastic bag.
So, what did they do with the money?
The Rabbi and his wife immediately called
the seller.
Through the bag I sort of saw like one
one-hundred Dollar bill and I'm like: "Oh my gosh there's money"
and I picked them like "this is pretty heavy"
and we brought it over to the table and just sorta
counted it up and we were like "oh my gosh!"
While Rabbi Noah Muroff and his wife
returned the cash to it's rightful owner
Of course, good people that they are,
turns out the woman left her inheritance inside the desk.
On a Thank You note she wrote - quote -
"I do like to believe that there are still good people left in this crazy
world that we live in"
The woman, who got her inheritance back said "she didn't
remember where she had put it"
Anchors for WFLA were as shocked as we are
Doesn't she know she was supposed to put
that under a mattress?
Yeah...
And they have these new things too
They are called.. banks?
Yeah
I mean... I don't know, it's probably good that a Rabbi found it.
And now, we are all asking ourselves,
