The selectable “supported” hydraulic stance yielding actually increases resistance as the knee angle increases, providing more safety to the user!
This gives the user more time to safely walk down a steep ramp, hill or stairs. Or even when sitting down in a chair, the additional resistance ramps up when the knee angle is most severe, gently lowering the user into the seat!
This updated functionality is awesome for unilateral users but even more significant for bilateral users! A real game changer, allowing the bilateral user to have more control over the knee when descending slopes for maximum hydraulic yielding support!
Now the prosthetist has many more settings and parameters available to customize MyModes for our patients specific activities! Using Bluetooth connectivity, the patient can use their iPhone or Android smartphone to change modes or fine tune adjustment parameters!
