Hey David
To get the USB devices to work with the application software, I had to do the following
sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER = i.e. sudo usermod -a -G dialout gjensen
sudo chmod 666 /dev/ttyUSB1 - must do on all ports that touch ham software (i.e. /dev/ttyUSB5 (CI-V)
