I get asked all the time why I keep going back to Solano State Prison. Well, what first started as just a game of basketball there turned into something much deeper. The men we met showed strength, vulnerability, and a sense of brotherhood that reminded me of the power of connection no matter where you are. I leave each time with a full heart and a lot to reflect on.
