1 large onion
2 cloves of garlic
500g ground meat
3 tablespoons olive oil
260 g (9.2 oz) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon thyme
500 ml (2 cups) milk
120 g (4.23 oz) butter (1 stick + 1 tsp)
120 g (4.23 oz) flour (1 cup – 2 tsp)
Parmesan cheese optional
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 egg
Vegetable oil for frying
