Milorad Dodik has not yet received an invitation for inquiry in regards to the case of “Pavlović banka” in which he was suspected along with Slobodan Pavlović and a number of bank employees for money laundering amounting of 1,5 million convertible marks.
The investigation of the case started on 11 February, 2016, when Slobodan Pavlović was arrested. Two days later the Prosecutor's Office of BiH officially suspected Dodik for taking part in money laundering amounting of 1,5 million convertible marks on 16 May, 2007, for the purpose of buying a villa in Dedinje, Belgrade.
The Prosecutor's Office unofficially claimed that Dodik would be inquired no later than March, what seemed to be logic, since he was the key suspect in this case.
However, even four months after being officially suspected for money laundering, prosecutor has not invited Dodik for inquiry.
It is a paradox that Slobodan Pavlović and others who were suspected by the prosecutor for being Dodik's service for money laundering were arrested and detained, while the SNSD leader has not yet got tine invitation to be inquired.
As long as Dodik is not interrogated, he can be neither accused nor the case of “Pavlović banka” can hget the court epilogue. Key person for whom Dodik was not sent the invitation is Goran Salihović, Chief Prosecutor of BiH.
On 10 and 11 April this year, within only 24 hours, Salihović stated that there was no investigation against Dodik and that there was investigation against Dodik. Prosecutor's Office in this case proved to be a servant of the politicians, but not for the first time. Unfortunately, not for the last time either.
