GALADRIEL'S SONG - Song of Eldamar (Rachel Hardy and Timothy Shortell)
My friend @TimothyShortellMusic and I wrote this song years ago but never got around to releasing it, so we decided to give it a fresh mix and finally put it out into the world. The lyrics are from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Fellowship of the Ring", one of my favorite books; "Galadriel's Song of Eldamar" is such a beautiful poem about longing and loss from the perspective of Galadriel as she laments her inability to return to Eldamar and its perpetual springtime. Coincidentally, Rings of Power (Season 2 Episode 2) dropped a song using the same poem a few days later, titled “Gil-galad’s song”.
