Autism & Learning Through Play With OT
Our son Levi has Autism and he's at his Occupational Therapy Session today. He's having so much fun free falling but there's something he'll be learning through play during this session... His OT is teaching him to take turns and to communicate that it's "My turn." It's not exactly easy for any child but for children with Autism it's sometimes extremely difficult for them because this is part of social skills and playing with other children. As you may know children with Autism struggle with social skills, social interactions, and playing with other children so this is so important for Levi to learn. We are so happy that he's learning while having so much fun.
