North River Falls trail update!
📍North River, Cape Breton Island
Currently considered closed to the inexperienced hiker, this beautiful trail has had a lot of washouts the last few years. I wanted to find out if it was still possible to get to the waterfall though and it was! This 19km hike is no joke and will take you all day to complete. I was pleased with how passable it is, though conditions can certainly be worse on wetter days or in different times of the year.
It was nice to get back to this one and hope you can enjoy its beauty someday too! Happy and safe hiking folks.
