I consider the Lumix Vario 12-35mm f/2.8 an excellent lens for reportage, documentary, and video. The combination with the G9 II, GH5, GH6, or GH7 is certainly a very good investment that isn't as expensive as full-frame. The version without the Leica logo costs €800.
