Indulging in a little high school musical marathon has made me realise that its true villain is in fact not Sharpay (although I do still put her in the evil catagory), but actually Troy’s manipulating father, coach Bolton. Under the guise of pep talks, he constantly emotionally manipulates Troy, victimises himself and even participates in some bargaining. Anything to ensure he can keep living vicariously through his golden boy. Wildcats, keep your eyes out on this one! And obviously keep your head in the game!
