NASA's Remote Sensing Toolkit
While NASA’s remote sensing data has long been of benefit to the scientific community, it has significant untapped potential for commercialization and entrepreneurship. The NASA Technology Transfer Program has built a tool to promote commercial use of this data and the software tools needed to work with it. Discovering new commercial uses for NASA data will encourage company creation, job growth and US economic competitiveness while also making new products, tools and services available to the public.
With the Remote Sensing Toolkit (RST), users will now be able to find, analyze and utilize the most relevant data for their research, business projects or conservation efforts.
Users will be able to find data relevant for their individual needs, find tools to analyze NASA data, or build their own remote sensing tools using NASA software.
