In this video I'll show you how to make your own Joystick / Button Box / Throttle / HOTAS etc. without a line of code. After connecting your buttons and other various inputs you upload the rr_controller firmware using Arduino IDE

Then run the RealRobots Configurator to easily assign all the inputs to HID inputs your computer will recognise as joystick inputs.

Multiple devices can be chained together so you can have your whole sim setup recognised as a single USB HID device.
This software is currently still being developed and should be considered Early Access. There will definitely still be bugs at this point.
