Audio Visualization! in Blender 2.69 (Overwerk - Rise)

This is an audio visualization I did in blender 2.69. I rendered it in cycles, in 480p and at 200 samples. I would have done more. because I'm not really happy with the quality but just this took way too long to render (about 150 hours, or 6 and a half days straight). This is purely due to the fact that I don't have a great computer so I'm rendering it with my 6 core AMD processor.

Just a heads up, depending on the version of blender you're using or what system you're on, you may need to change the line that says:

bpy.ops.graph.sound_bake(filepath='C:\filepath′, low=l, high=h)

to:

bpy.ops.graph.sound_bake(filepath=r'C:\filepath′, low=l, high=h)

The material (the weird emitting glass shader) I used was inspired by this tutorial:
