UNIVERSAL CASTING BED SYSTEM FOR PRESTRESSED I GIRDERS
Moldtech culminates the assembly and start-up of a new project in Romania with the supply of a Universal Casting Bed for the prestressed girders, featering side moulds for the manufacture of I-type girders. The universal casting bed has a total length of 100 metres and the prestressing system has a capacity of 800TN, providing high strength and durability.
The I-girder mould includes adjustable supplements between: 0.72 metres and 0.8 metres, allowing flexibility and adaptation to different project needs. It also features pneumatic vibration, ensuring a homogeneous compaction of the concrete and a higher quality of the beams produced.
The manufacturing process with the side moulds is carried out gradually, as these have a smaller dimension than the total length of the casting bed, thus optimising the production.
