Timeline of the famous young male lion Olonkera of Rongai pride. Was the first offspring born to Black Rock boy’s coalition with Rongai pride.
Update on 31 December 2023: many guides confirmed that Olobor and Oloshipa chased him away from Rongai pride. Lets see if he could return back or this is his first nomadic steps.
Update on July 2024: after Olobor death, Olonkera found the peace again and he is still enjoying the company of Rongai pride till the moment, he only lost some mane hair!
Update on February 2025: after the death of Lorkulup, Olonkera still in Rongai area but more with his younger brothers, probably the core of new coalition in Maasai mara.
Update on April 2025: Oloimina and Oloshipa are no longer tolerant to Olonkera and started to chase him and his 4 other brothers away from their territory.
Update on July 2025: Olonkera spotted mating with unknown female for his first time.
