Here is a somewhat lengthy and hopefully informative tutorial for replacing the inner and outer tie rods on my 2010 Porsche Cayman (987). Technically the car is a 987.2 but the process should be the same other than having to possibly use some different size wrenches. This is part 2 and will show the installation of your new tie rods.

The torque specs you'll need are as follows:
Outer tie rod to wheel carrier (M12x1.5) - 56 lb-ft
Inner/Outer tie rod lock/jam nut (M14x1.5) - 37 lb-ft
Inner tie rod to steering rack (M16x1.5) - 67 lb-ft

You will need a few specialty tools such as an inner tie rod removal tool, offset cv boot/oetiker clamp pliers and an outer tie rod removal tool or pickle fork. Both the inner and outer tie rod removal tools can be rented from your local auto parts stores, however, I did have trouble using that particular style (of inner tie rod removal tool). You might have luck with it but I would suggest grabbing a different style tool. I was able to remove the inner tie rods with the green tube-style tool but torqueing it back on during installation was near impossible. Having the other style of tool (below) would have been a lot easier for both installation and removal.
