DIY Automated Wireless Recording Light - Project Trailer
If you have ever tried to record some music (or a voiceover or anything else) you probably know this problem: Everything is set up, you are ready to go, hit record and start playing, when all the sudden someone walks in ruining that perfect take.
You can turn off your phone but what about your family?
This will not allow you to turn them off but will at least let them know that they better not disturb you right now.
Many people have tried building a light like this, yet none of them seemed to match my expectations: They either rely on a light switch or a remote control to manually turn them on or need some very special drivers and are a hassle to set up.
This Recording Light connects to your computer via USB without the need for any drivers or other special software, works remotely thanks to a separate transmitter box and is relatively simple to make.
In my next couple of videos, I will show you how you can build your very own Recording Lamp.
This way you too can make your home studio (at least look) a bit more professional.
