Sangean PR-D7 AM FM Rechargeable Radio Review
The Sangean PR-D7 AM FM rechargeable portable radio does a fantastic job catching your favorite stations. I love the dual display. Having a clock on constant display should be the norm for all digital radios. Let's see if they are watching this and taking the idea to their engineers :)

Features I like about this radio:
Stellar FM reception.
Smooth sounding Audio
Great AM reception.
Dual digital display with amber lighting.
12H/24H Clock.
Alarm by Radio or Buzzer.
Smart Alarm senses low battery or no radio station and will default to buzzer.
Recharges your NiMH batteries while hooked up to AC.
AC adapter included.
Slim Profile.
Easy to Carry.
Scan feature(similar to Browse on other radios)
Basic Controls. Great feedback on the buttons.
Analog volume control knob. One of it's best features.
Extra speaker output when AC power is applied.
Five simple presets per band. Ten total.
Headphones sound good on AM.
Features that could be added or improved on:
Carry handle.
Lock button.
Better headphone experience on FM. Too much Bass. Add Stereo.
Signal strength indicator, there is plenty of LCD real estate.
Matte finishes, these high gloss plastics are a pain, and I continue to choose white because it hides fingerprints the best.
Overall, I am happy with this portable. Would I recommend this one over the D9W, maybe. I do enjoy the smooth volume control and love the longer profile of the radio. If you don't need the weather band or FM Stereo, and want to save a few bucks, purchase the PR-D7 factory refurbished one like I did.
