Keyboard Shortcuts: YouTube has several useful keyboard shortcuts that can enhance your viewing experience. For example, press "K" to play/pause a video, "J" to rewind 10 seconds, "L" to fast forward 10 seconds, and "M" to mute/unmute the video.
Playback Speed: You can change the playback speed of a video by clicking the settings (gear) icon at the bottom right of the video player and selecting the desired speed. But, you can go beyond the usual options by using the "D" and "S" keys to increase and decrease the playback speed in smaller increments.
Loop a Video: To loop a video and have it play continuously, right-click on the video player, and select "Loop." It can be useful when listening to music or focusing on a specific section of a video.
Custom Timestamps: When sharing a video, you can link to a specific timestamp. Right-click on the video player, select "Copy video URL at current time," and share the link with others to start the video from that specific moment.
YouTube Leanback: If you prefer a more TV-like experience, you can try out "YouTube Leanback" ( / leanback . It offers a simplified interface optimized for large screens and remote controls.
Keyboard Nudging: While watching a video in full-screen mode, you can nudge the video frame slightly by pressing the comma (,) and period (.) keys. This can be useful if some part of the video is blocked by annotations or other elements.
Disable Autoplay: If you want to turn off the autoplay feature for suggested videos, click on your profile picture in the top-right corner, go to "Settings," then "Autoplay," and choose "Autoplay off."
Create GIFs: You can create GIFs from YouTube videos by adding "gif" before the "youtube" in the URL. For example, "www.gifyoutube.com/watch?v=yourvideocode."
Video Quality Shortcut: If you want to quickly change the video quality, press the "Shift" + "angled bracket" (comma) keys to decrease quality or "Shift" + "angled bracket" (period) keys to increase quality.
Mini-Player: While watching a video, you can click on the mini-player icon (bottom-right corner) to minimize the video and continue browsing YouTube.
