In this video, we changed out a solid bottom board on our Quebec honey bee hive (located at our St. Augustine Shores Apiary) to a screen bottom board which helps in preventing a build-up of condensation in the honey bee hive, as well as, providing adequate ventilation in the warmer months. The screen bottom board has a small space where we can slide a monitoring board underneath it to assist with our pest prevention efforts for the honey bee hives.
