GREP in InDesign: Shortest Match
Ever perform a GREP search in InDesign, only to have it select too much text in a paragraph? GREP is "greedy" by default and sometimes you have to rein it in. Using the shortest match expression tells InDesign to find each instance of a pattern and then format that text, before continuing with the GREP search.
