How To Permanently FIX Your WINDSHIELD TRIM Ford Explorer - Fifth Gen - Trim Flys Off
Permanently fix the window trim on your Ford Explorer! JB weld, plastic weld is the best to use. All it takes is to apply a small amount of JB Weld to each of the mounting points on a new trim piece, and let it cure completely. This is how I've managed to keep the trim from flying off again on my 2016 Ford Explorer. Even after selling it recently, the trim is still holding on strong. Ford did eventually recall this, but I found a solution faster than it took for them to make a recall about it.
