Do you ever wonder where your fruits come from? Who picks them and how long it takes to grow? Personally i did not care. However, a few months back, i got the opportunity to work at an Apple farm in the most beautiful fjord in Norway. So i went.

This film was supposed to be a bigger project but thanks to insanely strict Norwegian laws i was severely limited in my approach to the film, and chose to leave it. My camera was always with me regardless so i ended up filming parts of our life at the farm, and i think its still worthy of publishing, even though its not a fully fledged documentary.
Even though the Norwegian regulations are strict, and limit me in this specific scenario, i do not necessarily disagree with its core function.

I look at it as a tribute to the farm i was working at and to the others working day in and day out through the harvesting season and beyond.

If you wish to work like this there are several ways to get seasonal jobs at farms all through Europe. You have:
WWOOF.net
Worldpackers.com
Workaway.com
(All of the above offers food and shelter in exchange for hours of work)

The way i got this is by chance on Instagram were the farm posted asking for workers (Paid). You can also call random farms or cold email farms, but you need to be prepared to wait a season or more before things become available.
