1) Sculpturing the miniature Queen
The miniature Queen needed about 50 cables to perform the complicated movements she was designed to execute. To build the miniature Queen, Stan Winston assembled a team of Sculptors, including most of his permanent crew, and divided the work among them. John Rosengrant was given the body, Alec Gillis and Willie Whitten each built a leg, Greg Figiel built the arms, Brad Penikas and Shawn McEnroe worked on the tail and Shane Mahan sculpted the head.
2) Sculpturing the full size Queen
After molds were taken of the miniature Queen, it was shipped to England where a second group of Stan Winston artists sculpted the full size Queen.
