How to Easily Unlock Verifone VX520 Desktop Terminal Keypad | AMP Payment Systems
Hi everyone. This is Chene and today I will be demonstrating how to unlock the keyboard on your Verifone VX520 terminal.
This is a very common issue with a very simple solution. The keyboard is locked typically when the #8 key is accidently pressed and F1 is selected for yes. Subsequently, you will not have the ability to process payments without unlocking this feature.
To unlock the keyboard beginning from the Sale/Refund/Void screen
1. Press the #8 key. You’ll be prompted for a password.
2. Enter the password 1 Alpha Alpha 66831 and press the green enter key.
3. You’ll then be prompted to select yes or no to lock the keyboard. Select No
4. The terminal will then return to Sale/Refund/Void and you can now proceed to processing
