Snap Emergency Food Benefits Ending
A federal law was passed that ends the Emergency Food Benefits that were going to all SNAP recipients. SNAP households will receive their final issuance of Emergency Food Benefits on Feb. 28. Starting on March 1, SNAP households will only receive their regular monthly benefit on the normal issuance date. Households will no longer get extra Emergency Food Benefits on their EBT cards at the end of each month.
