I recreated Harry Styles' As It Was
this song is kinda addictive so I thought I would recreate the lead sound in this song. But the way they produced this song with gigantic moving blobs of just reverb and delay, defying all rules of music production and audio engineering, quickly became the thing I became more interested in and I ended up recreating the first verse and chorus and singing it 😬
I took my liberties to follow their style of production and created sounds made up of 2% sound synthesized by oscillators and 90% reverb and delay and the rest just FX
and of course the lead sound I made sounds nothing like the original because I think they used a guitar and I used a digital synth and sung a key 3 semitones higher than the original.
