Relaxing music to meditate, study, sleep, work or read to. The handpan is a unique percussion instrument derived from the steel originally from Trinidad and Tobago.
This track mixes modern instrumentation- synths, analog synthesizers, electronic drums and sound effects. No samples. Psychedelic sounds. All tracks were recorded by Chicago based producer Marshall Greenhouse who records under the moniker MANCHO.
MANCHO performs all over the world creating live improvised loops with acoustic and electronic percussion, drum sequences, live synths, added samples, kalimba and handpan.
Video filmed in 2023 in Rangiroa, French Polynesia at the Hotel Kia Ora Resort and Spa. Crystal clear waters with beautiful fish of all sizes that swim right up made the perfect backdrop for a few days of relaxing and playing handpan.
