BMW iX: MONOLiT, 360 LED Installation
MONOLiT is an immersive audio-visual experience designed by visual artist Can Büyükberber for the new BMW iX. The visual experience is inspired by the monolithic design philosophy, a holistic approach to the interior and exterior design of the iX that integrates technology invisibly and enriched with the digital driving sounds for the next generation BMW electric vehicles, developed by the Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer.
Interpreting the electric spirit of the new BMW iX as a 360 degrees sensory work with art and technology, Büyükberber reimagines the futuristic lines of the vehicle with the aesthetic combination of movement, form and light, turning into a spatial experience.
Commissioned by BMW Turkiye, in collaboration with Borusan Contemporary.
