What section/timestamp was your favourite?

🎤Were any samples used from the original song?
None at all! - Only Kira's bomb (JoJo reference) ;)
I handcrafted every note that you can hear in the arrangement, so I hope you enjoy all the variations that I introduced, the Opera singer, and the lyrics being sung by the choir :)!

❔How did I make this?
I used Musescore 4 to notate all of my ideas and Reaper to create and mix the whole track together.

🕰️How long did it take to make?🎛️
This took me 2 months and 20 days from beginning to end.
I spent an average of 7 hours a day on this, with a total of around 500+ hours
I spent a LOT of time perfecting every little detail as it is such an iconic piece of music.

⏪Background:
As most of what is made on this channel is decided by votes in my community tab, this was just that!

Every now and again, I pick a big song that a lot of people love and go absolutely ALL OUT on it. With crazy ideas all over from beginning to end, I did this with Crucified, Lay All Your Love on Me, and Crucified again haha!

This explains the long wait times between these big projects, as they naturally take a lot more time to write lots of original ideas, and then refine them into something very unique and special :)

I have loved this song for a long time (as I'm sure most of you also have!), and I always wondered what it could sound like with a full, energetic and grandiose orchestra. I know that Freddie was a HUGE fan of classical music, particularly Opera, and that is why I decided to include an Opera singer in those moments when it really counts.

If you have listened to my music previously, you may have noticed one big difference with this arrangement...
NO REFERENCES TO OTHER SONGS!
I tend to leave little easter eggs in my music for people to discover; this one, however, is only filled with ideas from the original song or my own original musical ideas!
I did a LOT of research while making this, from the story, direction, and alternate takes all the way to motivations behind certain sections and their musical and mixing decisions.
I also cheekily referenced one of Queen's live shows in the Opera section's transition ;) -    • Queen - Fukuoka (late) - 26th March 1976 -...
I hope you enjoyed my take on this legendary piece of music!
