Valve confirms SteamBox: My thoughts
I'm skeptical of the Steambox because it worries me that Steambox will go from a PC/Console hybrid and Valve as the "savior of PC gaming" to oh hey look another consoles that has no relation at all to PC and valve moves focus away from Steam and PC.
