JW Marriott Reston Station | Soft Opening REVIEW | Staying at Virginia's first JW Marriott!
Join us for an exclusive first look at Virginia's FIRST-EVER JW Marriott! In this video, we're giving you a glimpse and our experience of the brand-new JW Marriott Reston Station during its soft opening phase.
We had family come visit and decided to check out this historic new property on a whim. The entire tour was filmed on an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and we were seriously impressed with the quality! Is this new luxury hotel worth the hype? Watch to find out what we think.
📌 KEY INFO FROM OUR STAY (October 2025):
Soft Opening Status: The hotel is still in its soft opening. The Executive Lounge was not yet open during our visit but is scheduled to open on October 12th, 2025.
Parking Pro-Tip: On-site parking is pricey (~$45/night). For a much cheaper option, the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station garage is right across the street and offers significantly lower rates.
Marriott Bonvoy Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast for Platinum Elite members and above is offered at the hotel's restaurant, The Simon (for two guests) for the time being until the Executive Lounge opens.
Navigating Amenities: A quick tip! Most of the main amenities (fitness center, terrace, future lounge) are located on the 5th floor, which wasn't clearly marked from the lobby.
The Service: While there were some minor opening hiccups, the service was a highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating!
