Have you noticed that almost no one uses computers anymore? Of course, computers are still extremely popular for productivity and office work, and they're one of the most widely used technologies in the world. But compared to smartphones, computers are far behind. In fact, when you look at the web traffic of some of the world's most popular sites, you'll see that most receive 85% or more of their traffic from smartphones. One of the main reasons for this is younger generations, specifically Generation Z. They tend to have much more screen time than any previous generation, and almost all of that time is spent on smartphones. Something else worth noting is that computers are generally used for productivity, while smartphones are used more for internet browsing and social media. This video explains the various reasons why computers have lost popularity compared to smartphones and their future.
