The LSB Experience - Beatles&Beyond
sixteen freshly recorded titles, including many sure-fire stage-show favourites, are featured on this generously filled record. Since 2012 The LSB Experience performed at the Abbey Road On The River Festival (the largest Beatles influenced music event in the world) and also several times in the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. It was only a logical step to now aim the spotlights on the most influential band in the history of music. But not just to play yet another heartfelt tribute to the Fab Four. The new (2020) theater show “Beatles & Beyond” truly goes further than that. Besides material from the Beatles catalog, the audience will be treated on songs from the Beatles “solo years”, and music from acts, signed on the Apple record label,
such as James Taylor. “Beyond” also highlights the influence The Beatles had on so many great rock/pop bands and artists that came after them, such as: Crowded House; Tears For Fears;
10 CC; The Hollies and Eric Clapton, just to name a few. An extra challenge was to try and show some examples of songs, clearly influenced and/or inspired by specific Beatlessongs, and see if we could make connections, mash-ups and custom LSB-arrangements, thus making this musical adventure even more legitimate. So here it is: beatles & beyond.
