The Vamps: Can We Dance~Glasgow, 8/12/22
It was the 12th November 2012, and 14 year old me was scrolling through YouTube, when I noticed that Carrie Hope Fletcher had uploaded a brand new video. I click on it, and out popped The Vamps. From that moment I was hooked on them. Connor joined the band a few months later, and on 28th April 2013. I saw them perform at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow as the opening act for McFly on their Memory Lane tour. Little did we know, that just a few months later they’d be taken the stage by storm with their song “Can We Dance”.
Fast forward to 2022, this band are still going strong. They have achieved so many incredible things, and have just completed their umpteenth arena tour (I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve saw them live now). I am so incredibly proud of them and how far they have come. This tour was extra special as this was their 10 year anniversary tour aka their greatest hits tour. This venue is also directly across from the venue where they played in Glasgow for the very first time. This was them performing their own song “Can We Dance”
