The Curse of Time │ Short Film
Memories is a strange thing
It doesn’t work like I thought it did
We are so bound by time, by its order
But im not so sure I believe in beginnings and endings anymore
There are days that define your story beyond your life
Don’t hold your breath
Before we know it, as quickly as the moments come
They will be gone
That is the curse of time
It’s so easy to forget
but, let’s make it easier to remember

Inspiration for this story came from the movie Arrival from 2016 and thirtytwovisuals_ (on instagram) who also made a version of this and i connected 100% with the feelings I have with my own 2yo son and how he had taught me to look at memories and life in general. I took the concept and re-wrote it to my own story. I recorded this voice-over and edited some clips from a random walk in the local forest this summer - and there you go ☺️
This short film was actually made mostly for myself, as a beautiful memory with my son, but i came to the conclusion that I wanted to share it with you guys… maybe you will get inspired, just as I was 🙏
