I walk you through my thinking process, especially in the early stages of a painting. This image you're seeing took me under 5 hours to create and that's mostly due to getting a few very important things right from the start.
When I make a tutorial I truly hope it can help people improve instantly by switching one or two things in their own creative process. Practice is important but equally important is to have a solid approach and to avoid ever practicing how to do things the wrong way over and over.
