What does a Graduate Software Developer do? Hear from AIE Alumni working in VR/MR Simulation
Join the AIE team as we speak with alumni Byron Boskell. Byron graduated from AIE's Game Programming Advanced Diploma in 2019, and is now working in virtual and mixed reality simulation at Insight via Artificial Intelligence (IVAI).
Byron's initial professional venture involved the Aboriginal Health Project, where he contributed to training remote health-care providers to address foot complications arising from diabetes. Presently, numerous headsets housing the training program are deployed across remote locations in SA and the NT.
During his leisure hours, Byron dedicates his time to developing his own video game, Lords of Illic, which gained recognition when showcased at Avcon 2023 as part of the indie showcase.
