In this video, we will explore in detail the balance sheet, a fundamental tool for financial analysis of a company. We will discuss the complete structure of the balance sheet, including assets, liabilities, and equity, and explain the concepts of liquidity and exigibility. In addition, we will teach step-by-step how to register accounts in the balance sheet.
Starting with the asset structure, we will address current assets and non-current assets (long-term realizable assets, investments, fixed assets, and intangible assets).
Next, we will address asset liquidity, which is the ability to transform assets and rights into cash.
On the liability side, we will talk about liabilities, which represent the company's obligations. We will explore current liabilities, which include accounts payable in the short term, such as suppliers, salaries, and short-term loans. We will also address non-current liabilities, which are long-term obligations.
