Today we're sharing a video tutorial on how to build a kegerator. Once you have one, you'll never bottle beer again, except in very specific situations. Personally, I prefer this type of kegerator to the typical chest freezer converted into a kegerator. With the kegerator/refrigerator, we have space for two Cornelius kegs, and since it has shelves, we can store our bottled beers, as well as hops, yeast, etc., keeping everything perfectly organized. We don't get this with chest freezer-type kegerators, and they're also much more complicated and expensive to build, although the latter are ideal when you want to have many taps.

What do you need to convert your refrigerator into a kegerator like the one we explain in the video?
1 Refrigerator. I bought mine second-hand on Wallapop for 60 euros, and it already came with the beer-themed vinyl decal you see on the door. It was an incredible purchase; I saw the opportunity and bought it. It was only two years old and like new. Its new value was over €200. It was a great buy!
2 taps with CO2 compensators. My favorites are the Belgian-style taps.
2 Duotight adapters from 5/8" to 8mm for the taps. This connection is better than the one that comes with the tap.
2 non-return pipes for connecting gas to a Cornelius keg.
2 beer outlet pipes for Cornelius kegs.
4 Duotight threaded fittings for Cornelius kegs with 8mm hose outlet.
2 Kegland Duotight KL15035 mini-pressure gauges.
2 Duotight 8mm elbow fittings.
1 Duotight 8mm T-fitting.
1 Duotight straight-through fitting.
1 Duotight with a shut-off valve. - Beer tap tubing, 8mm outer diameter, 5mm inner diameter. 3-4 meters long…better safe than sorry.
2 trays for under the taps.
You can find all of this on sites like AliExpress, Amazon, or your usual suppliers such as “El Secreto de la Cerveza” (The Secret of Beer), “La Tienda del Cervecero” (The Brewer's Shop), etc. (in Spain)
